We all took a vacation day on Friday to make our first trip to the State Fair in five years. We rode the Sky Ride, tried as much fair food as we could handle (the chocolate-dipped waffles with whipped cream were the best treat), wandered Machinery Hill and more during our time at the fairgrounds.
